Chapman Park Campground

Reservations can be made by calling City Hall Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.


On the shores of Chapman Lake, the City of Stanley operates a modern campground:


28 Sites -- all within steps of the lake - RVs and Campers of all sizes, plus tents are welcome!

  • Season : Campground opens May 1st (water may not be available until later in the month, depending on weather)
    • Campground closes October 31
  • 25 Sites with Electrical Hookups  (30 amp)
  • 1 Modern Shower House and Flush Toilets
  • 1 Sanitary Dump Station (free to paid campers of Chapman & Otter Campgrounds) $10.00 fee for others.
  • Sites 3, 4, 7, and 8 are tent only sites.

FEES:

  • $35 per night
  • $175 per week
  • $300 for two weeks
  • $500 per month

*Two weeks or more must provide availability for mowing.

Self-service pay station is installed under the Campground Information Sign. Envelopes and Pens are there as well.


Campground Host is onsite to collect payments and sell firewood ($5.00 per wheelbarrow load).


Note: Chapman Park currently does not have Horse Camping facilities available.


City ordinance requires that all dogs and pets must be on a leash at all times.
