My name is Lance Weiland and I am the Police Chief for the City of Stanley.  Thank you for visiting the Stanley Police Department’s website and I hope you find the information presented to be useful. The Stanley Police Department currently has nine dedicated employees who are tasked with providing around-the-clock law enforcement related services in both the City of Stanley and Village of Boyd (effective May 2022).  In December of 2018 we officially added our first ever K-9 (Trey) to our staff as well and we are excited to bring this additional resource to our community.

At the Stanley Police Department we strive to provide prompt and professional service and it is my responsibility to ensure this remains a top priority.
